The Naturist Society Foundation has announced plans to conclude its operations by the end of 2026. Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the organization shared the decision with its members in mid-October, pointing to shrinking membership numbers and increasing operational expenses. Over its four decades of activity, the foundation championed naturist advocacy, rights, and education while tracing its heritage to the early free-beach movement. Before officially shuttering, the foundation intends to release one final edition of its long-running publication, N magazine, later this year under editor Mark Storey.
