Palm Springs' Desert Sun Resort, a Nudist Fixture for 80+ Years, Becomes a Family Hotel

The Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs, a clothing-optional property with more than 80 years of history, has reopened as Casa Palma, a family-oriented hotel. Owners Ryan and Rochelle Jaleh bought it about five months before the report and rebuilt the grounds with lawns, communal fire pits and play areas, while keeping the restaurant and bar open to the public. Ryan Jaleh said nudism was no longer the best use of the property. The report notes that other nudist establishments still operate in Palm Springs.
